Liz Stavrinides has more than just a love for our furry companions – as a photographer, she has made it her mission and passion to support and tell the stories of animal rescues around the world. Through her lens, Liz works to create images with a strong visual impact. She hopes to not only raise awareness about animal rescue operations, but to also illicit true compassion for the animals she photographs for various rescue organizations. Her work on this issue will be culminating in a series of coffee table books featuring many of the rescue animals she has gotten to know. Liz’s first book on dogs is due out this September (crossing fingers).
The other side of Liz is as a pet and family photographer who creates lasting memories for her clients and their furry, feathered, or, yes, scaly friends. She came to us looking for a new brand for both sides of her business – something clean and sharp that would appeal to both commercial/editorial clients as well as the families she loves to photograph. We knew the look needed to be professional, but also heart-warming and inviting. To those purposes, we merged a clean, simple font-based logo with a color palette that was bright and cheerful. For fun and organic touch, we incorporated painted paw prints (thank you Braizen pets for your participation) and developed some modern, eye-catching patterns and backgrounds. We know this new look will help Liz move forward in both her work as a animal rights advocate and photographer. Working with her has been incredibly inspiring as the Braizen office is very much made up of animal lovers. We care so much for our furry companions and are very glad that someone like Liz is out there supporting animals around the world.
