Y’all know Stacy, right? She’s just about the cutest, most fun, “sister” client in the world. We’ve been working with Stacy for about as long as we’ve been doing design work, which predates Braizen by a few years. We branded her first photography business, her boudoir studio, have designed and built her websites, and she just keeps coming back for more. To say we love Stacy is an understatement. She’s pretty much family at this point. So, it was no surprise when she called us up to see about a design for a new brand – something to help her launch her all new beauty and boudoir project. As she talked us to through her vision, it was really easy to get excited. These weren’t going to be just boudoir shots, but intimate and sophisticated photographs to capture a truer essence of her clients’ beauty – inside and out. We loved the idea and went to work brainstorming with our bestie.
The whole team got in on naming this new endeavor. We had a blast playing with possible names, but finally decided on a name that best communicated Stacy’s mission. The new business: blushd. It was just so perfect. I mean, who’s blushing? The client? The client’s significant other? Stacy (we’ve seen her blush – it’s friggin adorable). What’s more, blushd gave us a great springboard for the visuals. After a lot of ideas tossed about like fish on a Friday, the girls broke out their make-up bags and started looking at blush colors (hell, why not!). It was perfect! In fact, we used blush to paint the logo and built the color palette from blush swatches. From there, everything just came together. It was such a fun brand to build – even more so because it was for one of the most awesome women on the planet!
